NNMCAB is one of nine DOE site specific advisory boards in the US developed to involve community members more directly in the DOE’s radioactive waste clean-up decisions. The CABs across the county are comprised of appointed citizens who work together in the areas of Waste Management, Environmental Remediation and Community Involvement to provide advice and recommendations directly to the decision makers at the DOE.
